The news today was sweeter than maple syrup: Vermont became the fourth state (the second this week!) to legalize gay marriage. Its legislature voted to override the governor’s veto (after the legislature passed a bill allowing it last week).

Also today: D.C. Council voted today to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states!
