^ I find it very hard to participate in the political process at all because I see hypocrisy, stupidity, false promises, misinformation, and straight-up lies at every turn. Politicians may be the MC’s of that dummy’s ball, but the American voting public are the ones swaying to the beat.
It’s the public more than the politicians who make me more and more nauseous every time a vote rolls around. Makes me think of Marullus’ timeless assessment of the crowd: “you blocks, you stones, you worse than senseless things…”

The hypocrisy is in the voters who damned Clinton for getting a bj in the oval office but are voting for Gingirich in the primary
