Comment of the Week: Are Bisexuals More Likely to Cheat?
For the record, when we select a Comment of the Week, it’s not necessarily an endorsement of that commenter’s opinion — rather, it’s a comment that we feel is interesting for some reason: for the debate it sparks, perhaps, or the buttons it pushes. And it’s in that spirit that we present the following fairly controversial comment:
I’d say being bi does make [a guy] more likely to cheat. I’d say the same of anybody who can’t get what they want at home, like a woman whose guy won’t go down on her or a guy whose girlfriend won’t let him do her from behind.
— Johnny, responding to the post “Your Call: I Can’t Handle My Boyfriend’s Bisexuality”
Can I just note that a woman whose guy won’t go down on her is *not* like a guy whose girlfriend won’t let him do her from behind. It’s like a guy whose girlfriend won’t go down on him. Reciprocation is not icing, people.
In the immortal words of Woody Allen, being bisexual doubles your chances of getting a date Friday night.
Or, as he probably also said but didn’t get as big a laugh, it doubles your chances of striking out.
