Okay, so I’m a female and recently I had a dream that I had and erection, not just a random erection where I was, like, wanking. In my dream my friends and I were playing some basketball and just goofing around and stuff when one of the girls shoved me up against the wall and started rubbing my crotch with her knee like she was trying to get me aroused. When I didn’t she got frustrated and turned away and then I immediately got a raging hard-on in my dream. First off, I don’t even know who the girl was in my dream, second I’m not a lesbian or bi or straight, I’ve actually been saying I’m asexual because I’ve never been sexually interested in anyone. It’s not like I’m curious — in fact, I hate women. I know I’m a hypocrite, but I do. They’re all feminine and I just don’t like it, even the more masculine women. I’ve never had any interest in men either. Any help would be nice as to what this means.

Lauri: I can certainly understand how a raging erection dream would leave you confused and wanting answers! And considering where you stand sexually, you’ll be glad to know that this dream probably doesn’t mean that, deep down, girls turn you on. Instead, this dream is more likely about your need or ability to “stand up” for yourself and be “firm” and unbending in your decision(s).

The setting of your dream is a basketball game, which means it is either about some sort of competitive situation or head games you are currently dealing with, or it could mean that the ball is “in your court” now. Are you in a situation where it is your turn to make a decision or take action? The way you are shoved up against the wall in the dream makes me think you were recently “put up against the wall” in real life and are being forced to make a decision.

I think the way the girl is trying to get you aroused is really more about your inner self trying to get you to stand up and be firm and do what is right for yourself. And I think her frustration in the dream is really your frustration with yourself. Were you recently in a situation where you wish you had stood up for yourself but only “got the balls” to do so when it was too late?

I think what you can take from this dream is that you definitely have what it takes to take a stand when you need to, to be firm and unbending when you want to and especially, to push back when life puts you “up against the wall.”
