What It Means When You Dream About Kissing a Co-Worker

Other people’s dreams are never interesting…except when they’re about sex. Each week, our dream analyst Lauri Loewenberg tells one lucky reader what their dirty dream means. Got a dream you want Lauri to analyze? Click here to submit it (18 and older only for dream interpretations, please). This week, a reader asks Lauri:

I dreamt I was at my job and one male co-worker came up to me, hugged me with passion and love, and kissed me. In the back of my mind I was asking why, out of all these other women, why me?

Lauri:  Ah yes, the good ol’ “being naughty with a co-worker dream!” Well, let’s start with the obvious… is there any attraction to this co-worker in real life? If so, then this dream could simply be a safe way for you to explore that fantasy.

If not, then this dream may mean that you and this co-worker connected on some level recently. Kissing in dreams can often be connected to communication in real life. Did you and this co-worker have a deep or meaningful conversation at the time of this dream? In particular, was there a meaningful conversation about anything work related? If so, this dream is kind of a confirmation from your subconscious that the conversation and connection was well done!

Naughty co-worker dreams can also mean that there is a particular quality of this co-worker that you need to “embrace” as your own. What’s he like? Is he a smooth talker or a good closer? Does he make his points well? Does the boss really like him? There’s something there that your subconscious feels would serve you well if you made it your own, in which case the dream isn’t so much about him as it is about what he possesses that you need for yourself.

I hope this helped and that you can look your co-worker in the eye again because, boy howdy, I know how uncomfortable these dreams can make the workplace!

  1. Reminds me of when my old supervisor had a dream that he ran around the store (we work in retail) and kissed every single coworker. No idea what it could have meant, maybe he just felt really connected with the whole team! lol
