The Mirror recently ran the subtle headline “BBC bringing ‘porn’ to primetime with VERY graphic £21m raunchy bonkbuster” about their new show “Versailles,” premiering tonight in the UK. According to the Mirror, the miniseries “has already caused some controversy with MPs and family rights campaigners.” We in the States will have to wait until October 1st to judge for ourselves, when it airs on Ovation TV (some time after that Netflix will steam it).
