I had a dream last night that me and my boyfriend were having sex in a hotel room, and women kept on coming in and trying to get involved to have an FFM. I told my boyfriend that I didn’t mind if he really wanted to, but he kept on sending them away regardless of this, and he was even more annoyed when they tried to kiss me, etc. I don’t know why I had this dream and I’m really struggling to work out its meaning!
Lauri: Has this been a topic of discussion lately between the two of you? If so, your dream may be telling you that, deep down, you know this would not be a good idea for you two.
If you haven’t been discussing this option, and this dream seems to be coming from left field, I think I can help! First of all, the setting of the dream tells us that it is connected to a current issue in your life, or in your relationship, that is temporary, because we only stay in hotels for a temporary amount of time.
The way all these women kept coming in and trying to get involved tells us that there may be outside influences that are beginning to affect your relationship. What’s been going on lately that feels like an intrusion? Has someone been nosy? Or is there some sort of recent development that you are okay with but that your boyfriend is not?
The kissing makes me think this may have to do with either a conversation he does not want to have, or perhaps discussions you have been engaging in with others that he feels are wrong. What this boils down to is that your dream seems to be trying to show you that there is something you are okay with in real life that he is not and, once you figure out what it is, it may be best to move on from it rather than pushing the issue.
