This Thanksgiving, we are giving thanks for four more years of Obama, and in particular we are thankful for the preservation of safe and legal abortion; for the trend toward marriage equality; for contraceptive coverage by health insurance companies; for the continued existence of Planned Parenthood (ditto Big Bird); and for a moratorium on old, white, anti-science, Republican dudes who think pregnancy from rape is a gift from God. We’ll be taking a break from this site for the rest of the week to appreciate all that we (still) have to be thankful for in this country.
