It's National STD Awareness Month
This is just a friendly neighborhood reminder that April is National STD Awareness Month. Yes, if you’re having sex, you’ve still got to worry about those pesky little infections. So several organizations are working to encourage you to get tested. Use Planned Parenthood’s widget to confirm whether you should get yourself to a clinic. MTV’s got an entire site dedicated to STD education, including tips for talking to your partner and your health care provider. And the CDC’s got all the scary statistics you need to keep your head out of the sand. Here’s to happy, healthy schtupping!
