Other people’s dreams are never interesting…except when they’re about sex. Each week, our dream analyst Lauri Loewenberg tells one lucky reader what their dirty dream means. This week, a straight woman asks Lauri:

The other night I dreamed that I was lying down on my stomach on my couch at home watching TV. Then my guy friend who I am not romantically involved with laid on top of me and hugged me from behind. Then I felt him get hard! I was sort of uncomfortable but it felt good to have someone intimate with me. But then he ejaculated about 3 times and I felt it touch me through his pants. I didn’t want to embarrass him because my 3 brothers were in the same room playing video games, so I acted like nothing happened. Then when he got up my pants were wet but it didn’t show that much. What does this mean?

Lauri: What you might be worried is a sign of a hidden attraction is actually a confirmation of a good friendship!  The two of you must have recently shared an intimate moment of conversation where he was able to “unload” on you and in doing so, put some issues between the two of you “behind you.”  Notice how you didn’t want to embarrass him in the dream?  That is directly connected to how you must have made him feel comfortable enough to open up to you in waking life.  It is being shown to you in the form of ejaculation because your dreaming mind is equating it to the satisfying release of an orgasm.  This was something that may have been “hard” to do at first but wound up feeling good because he needed that release.  There is not much evidence on your pants in the dream because in waking life, it turned out not to be such a big mess after all.
