I Dreamt My Boyfriend’s Pregnant Ex Locked Me Out of My Own House!

Why did I have a dream of my boyfriend’s ex girlfriend coming to my house pregnant with his child? And to top it off, in my dream she locked me out of my own home!

Lauri: Just to give you an example of how common this sort of dream is, 7 of the dreams in the batch I was going through this morning were about a husband or boyfriend getting an ex pregnant. Why so common? Because it is a common tendency to hang on to the past and to allow insecurities to overwhelm us.

The pregnancy in your dream, as in most dreams like this, represents an issue that is beginning to grow and develop within this relationship. Since the ex girlfriend is the mother, she is a huge clue as to what the issue is so let’s take a look at her. Does your BF still have any sort of connection or communication with her? If so, your dream indicates you have a problem with it and, like a pregnancy, it is going to continue to grow and get bigger unless this concern is addressed. If he doesn’t have any connection or communication with her then the pregnancy will represent something that stems from that relationship such as jealousy, resentment, bitterness, etc.

What’s unique about your dream. however, is that she locked you out of your own house. That right there is a warning that, whatever this growing issue is, it is beginning to make you feel like you are no longer “at home” in your own life . . . or at least in this relationship. And that is no bueno, my dear. Your dream is letting you know this needs to be corrected before the situation “gives birth” to even bigger problems.
